I did no homework today! I went to the farmer's market downtown and got some veggies and a thyme plant for my deck. I cleaned until 2 and lost_capella and her friend came over to finally start our Battlestar Galactica marathon! We invited everyone from last quarter's folk science and film but at least effectaffect and briallen were able to come. Meghann ended up staying until just about an hour ago. We made and ate a whole homemade pizza and drank and played RE4. Now my stomach is gurgling like I'm growing a face-hugger. Yesterday I worked on homework for a few hours, so I don't feel quite so bad about my entirely social day. I rode my bike to Fairhaven and laid on the grass behind Village Books. I'm reading Gravity's Rainbow for cybernetic fiction. Anyone read it that wants to discuss it with me?

Also, I made some cornbread a few days ago and have a big tupperware of it left. Does anyone want it? It is probably not exactly fresh anymore, but heat it up and put some margarine or agave nectar (vegan honey-like sweetener, can't endorse the real thing people the vegan police outside in the patrol car) it probably is still really good.



Last night, I made some white bean and yam hummus and it turned out soooooo good. Sweet. I think this is going to be my primary hummus recipe. I'll take a picture if it ever makes it out of the tupperware and onto a platter. (Good thing Giraffe Pat doesn't have LJ, or he'd probably be already at the door.)
