Too much Battlestar Galactica and Final Fantasy XII broke our TV. Does anyone in Bellingham have an extra they'd like to loan me once the snow melts and it's safe to walk down the street carrying a television?

Starbuck probably thought your TV was a frakkin' toaster.

We have one but its a bit farther from town then you might like.
You could actually keep ours too.

Your place is a bit far for walking with a television in the snow, but maybe when the ice melts I can come get it in my car?

I have a television you can have outright, as soon as I locate a power cord for it. (Who ever heard of a television that had a detachable power cord?!) I can even drive it to you (or some neutral location, if you prefer) so you don't have to stagger down the street with it. It's about 21 inches. (And, really, too much Final Fantasy is a fine way to kill a set.)

Hey! I found a power cord for the TV. It works fine, but I can't find the remote control. However, that's not a big deal, as it's not one of those TVs that requires a remote. All the controls are also on the console. It has inputs for RF, coaxial cable, and RCA cables, but not S-video (I think it's a little too old for that). Still, it's worked for me for a long time, and the only reason I have it as a spare now is that I inherited my granparents' "old" TV.

I might be going out tonight, so if you're home, I'll see you when I bring it by. Otherwise, I'll drop it by in the evening tomorrow after I return from work.

We won't be home until about 9 or 10 tonight, but you're welcome to leave it in our mudroom/entryway (it's safe there). We'd be happy to come get it from your place, too, now that the snow has melted.

Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for bringing the television over! I didn't realize our house-guest would be home.

Would you like anything in return? Some cookies?

I didn't realize someone would be home, either, and I daresay he was surprised to see me. :) I don't need anything in return for the television. Please consider it a gift! It's been sitting on the workbench for a good three months and I'm happy to have a new home for it.
